Witnesses: John Nidd, apprentice to Messrs Slingsly and Guy, carpenters; Thomas Ward of the Waterside, slater; George Rumble the younger of the Waterside, chemist and druggist; William Tuxford, police constable. Accused: Henry Gadsby, apprentice to Ward. Crime: stealing a box, 6 scarifiers, a pair of forceps, a chain and hooks, a brass tube, a pair of scissors and a needle in the parish of St Mark, Lincoln.
