Thomas Harris (1792-1839) |
Thomas Harris 1
I think Thomas is George's father, even though from 1822 back in time the name is recorded as Harry not Harris. As Harry starts, so the Harris' disappear and the occupation of shoemaker, in Mumbles for both of them, is fairly definitive. I doubt whether there would be a George Harry and a George Harris both shoemakers in Mumbles, both married to a Mary.
• Occupation: Cordwainer, Shoemaker. 1 3 5 Thomas married Mary. (Mary was born circa 1798 in Bishopston, Glamorgan, Wales, 6 and died between 1871 and 1881 7.) |
